ECC10 Industry Day: Bridging Science & Business
At the 10th EuChemS Chemistry Congress, we believe that the future of chemistry lies in strong collaboration between all stakeholders across the value chain and innovation path, including the bridging of groundbreaking academic research and industrial applications.
We are proud to present the ECC10 Industry Day on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, a dedicated track designed to inspire and connect attendees from all corners of the industrial sector, including global multinationals, SMEs, innovative start-ups, and university spin-offs.
What to Expect
The Industry Day offers a dynamic program featuring:
- Keynote & Invited Lectures: Insights from leading representatives and visionaries from the chemical and life sciences industry.
- Oral & Poster Presentations: A showcase of the latest industrial innovations and collaborative research, selected from submitted abstracts.
- Closing Debate: The day will conclude with a high-level panel debate. We will celebrate the successes of the European chemical and life sciences industries while also engaging in an open discussion about the critical challenges we face today and in the near future, and the steps needed to address these challenges.
Call for Industry Abstracts
We invite professionals from the industry and academic entrepreneurs to present their work at ECC10 through either an oral presentation or a poster presentation.
While you are welcome to submit on any topic relevant to industrial chemistry, we have selected the following themes to inspire your submission:
- Enhance Competitiveness: Strategies for a stronger European industry.
- Energy Transition & Climate Action: Electrification and Carbon Capture & Conversion (CCU/CCS).
- Strategic Autonomy: Supporting the resilience of Europe’s supply chains.
- Novel Chemistries of the Future: Breakthrough molecules and materials.
- Bioeconomy: Sustainable solutions from biomass.
- Towards a Circular Economy: Recycling, waste reduction, and closing the loop.
- Safe and Sustainable Chemistry: Innovations in safety and sustainability by design.
- Digitalization & AI: The power of data and artificial intelligence in industrial processes.
Note: These themes are open and intended to spark inspiration; submissions are not strictly limited to this list.
Submission Guidelines (Industry Day abstract submissions open soon)
To ensure the relevance of the Industry Day program, we apply specific criteria for these abstracts:
- Single Platform: Please use the standard ECC10 abstract submission system on this website for all industrial abstracts.
- Industry Focus: Submissions must be industry-oriented. To qualify, your abstract should either:
- Originate from an industrial stakeholder
- Include at least one industrial (co-)author and must be focused on the industrial part of the work , OR
- Clearly demonstrate that the work originates from an academic spin-off or start-up context.
- Motivation: In your abstract, please include a short paragraph explaining the specific industrial focus or potential for application to facilitate the evaluation process.
