Poster Presentations

● Dedicated poster session throughout the congress (Monday-Thursday, 13:00-14:00)

If you were selected for an oral presentation, you need to prepare your slides carefully:

• Timing: Oral presentations include an 12-minute speech with an additional 3 minutes for questions.
• Format: Design your presentation in widescreen (16:9) layout using PowerPoint (.pptx).
• Attendance: You must be physically present at the congress and are expected to attend the entire allocated session.
• Delivery: Please bring your presentation file to the Speaker Ready Room (Stanley Room) and hand it over to the AV technician, preferably the day before your scheduled presentation. From there, your presentation will be transferred to the correct session room.
  We also kindly ask all speakers to bring a backup copy of their PowerPoint presentation on a USB stick.In the meeting room: Please introduce yourself to the session chair in your session room before the start of your session.Speaker Ready Room (Stanley Room) opening hours:
  * Sunday: 14:30–18:00 (registration opens at 14:30) Presentations for Monday can also be emailed to contact@euchems2026.eu

  * Monday – Tuesday – Wednesday: 07:30–19:00
  * Thursday: 07:30–16:00

• Format: Design your 1 slide presentation in widescreen (16:9) layout using PowerPoint (.pptx).
• Delivery: Bring your file to the AV technician in the speaker ready room, preferably the day before your scheduled talk, and introduce yourself to the session chair in your session room.
• Attendance: You must be physically present at the congress and are expected to attend the entire allocated session.
• Physical Poster: You are expected to bring a poster in A0 portrait format to the congress. (see poster info below)

📍 For poster presentations, follow these specifications:

• Size & Layout: Your poster should be printed, portrait A0 size (maximum 841 mm × 1189 mm).
  To ensure there is space between each presentation, poster walls will not always be aligned in a straight line, but may stand together in small groups to maximize visibility. Therefore, it is essential that your poster does not exceed the maximum width of 841 mm.
• A poster printed on one large sheet of paper is encouraged.
• Poster number labels will be provided on site and will be placed above your poster on the board.
• Content: Must be entirely in English and clearly display the title, author names, and institutional affiliations.
  
• You’re invited to hang up your poster as soon as possible on the day of your poster session, and remove it at the end of that day (on Thursday, July 16, please remove your poster at the end of the poster session at 14:00). The congress organizers will not be responsible for remaining posters.

Please note posters should NOT be sent to the Committee, nor the congress organizers, but should be brought as a hardcopy by the presenter and placed on their numbered board.
