The ECC10 Scientific Committee invites EuChemS Member Societies, EuChemS Divisions & Working Parties and others to submit proposals for symposia, mini-symposia and workshops. Whereas NO FEES apply for EuChemS Member Societies, EuChemS Divisions & Working Parties, fees to cover the associated costs may be requested from other applicants.
All proposals will be reviewed by the ECC10 Scientific Committee before inclusion in the Congress Program.
Please note the important points below:
- As a symposium, mini-symposium or workshop organiser, you are required to manage your symposium in terms of nominating speakers and chairpersons.
- The Congress budget will not cover the cost of registration, travel and accommodation for symposium speakers and chairpersons.
- To enhance the depth and breadth of the Congress, it is preferable if the symposium workshop speakers are additional to the Congress Invited Speakers. If they are an invited speaker, we would request that they present on a different topic.
The following formats can be offered at ECC10:
- Mini-Symposium: Max 1 hour timeslots (approximately 12:45-13:45) in some of the rooms of the 8 congress themes
- Workshop: Max 1 hour timeslots (approximately 12:45-13:45) in some of the rooms of the 8 congress themes, for interactive/hands-on sessions
- Symposium: Can be more than 1 hour, scheduled in parallel to the 8 congress themes, limited audience (up to 80 people)
Submission deadline: January 6, 2026
